🕊️ "When the Soul Begins to Ask"

🕊️ "When the Soul Begins to Ask"

By Khadija

“Is life just an adventure? Or a joke? Or something deeper?”

We laugh too much, scroll too much, post too much—
But think too little.

We make memes on death,
Say "YOLO" as if we’ll never be questioned,
Live like kings,
But die like we were never here.

💭 The Silent Questions We All Carry

  • Is life an adventure?
Maybe. But not just about road trips and thrill.
The real adventure is surviving silent battles, hidden fears, and still choosing to live.

  • Is this world a joke?
No. But we’ve turned it into one.
We chase filters instead of faith, likes instead of love, and fake smiles instead of real connection.

  • Will we rise again after death?
    Yes.
And that’s the most certain part of our uncertain lives.
    Every soul will be questioned.
Every action will echo in the eternity we often ignore.

⚰️ Looking Death in the Eye

I saw someone take their last breath once.
No drama. No music. No dialogue.
Just... silence.
And in that silence, I heard the loudest truth:

“You too… one day.”

It broke me.
It built me.

Maut doesn’t care about your Instagram bio,
your makeup, your grades, your heartbreak.

It comes.
And it takes.
Everything —
Except your deeds.

📖 But What About Those Who Don’t Believe?

Some say,

"Qur’an is just a book."
"Religion is old-fashioned."
"Life is now. Heaven can wait."

But then why does their soul still feel empty at 2 a.m.?
Why does anxiety eat their heart even with thousands of followers?

Because deep down,
the soul remembers its origin.
And it longs for its Creator.

"Indeed, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest."
Surah Ar-Ra’d (13:28)

🌌 A Generation That Jokes About Life and Death

We’ve made “sadness” aesthetic.
We laugh when we want to cry.
We joke about being “dead inside,”
but forget that real death is the beginning — not the end.

We don’t need more jokes.
We need more jagny walay lamhay (wake-up moments).

🧠 So… What Now?

Let this life be your adventure
But a meaningful one.

Let this world be your test
Not your trap.

Let death be your reminder
Not your fear.

And let the Qur’an be your map
Not just a forgotten book on a shelf.

✨

This life is a question, and you are the answer.
This world is an illusion, but your soul is real.
Death is a door, not an end.
And faith is the only light that guides you home.

🌿 Conclusion:

Dear soul,
Stop running in circles.
This world will fade.
Your breath will stop.
But what you build for your akhirah will remain — forever.

Live for something eternal.
Because one day, everything you see will become dust —
Except your truth.
